No. Registrations for this event are processed online and require participants to review and agree to the event health, safety, and liability terms.

EVENT COURSES/CERTIFICATIONS/EXAMS:
Will I receive a certificate of completion for each class I attend?
Certificates of completion are awarded to participants who attend 100% of their course, based on daily attendance recorded by event faculty. Please confirm that your attendance is recorded each day. Certificates will be uploaded to your My Courses page on the Event Platform within 2–3 days of course completion. To download a certificate, select My Courses and click the graduation cap icon next to each completed course. Please note that exams do not generate additional certificates. For assistance, please see the certificate printing guide.
Which courses can I take to obtain my NCHEC continuing education hours? What is the timeframe for taking the NCHEC exams after the event? Where do I find the NCHEC test exams? When will my score be updated on my transcript?
Participants must take courses within the Housing Education & Counseling training tracks to receive NCHEC continuing education renewal hours. We recommend reviewing your transcript before registering to avoid repeating courses. Exams must be completed within 30 days of the course end date to receive credit. The links to the exams will be updated for each respective course within the event platform; just access the course to obtain your Certificate of Completion as well as complete the exam.

LODGING & TRAVEL LOGISTICS:
NeighborWorks secured my lodging, will they pay for an additional night stay if I am unable to get home by midnight? Who do I contact if I need to arrive late at the hotel?
-
NeighborWorks’ lodging policy provides extensions only when no flight departure options are available that would allow the participant to return home by midnight. When eligible, for Friday night stay, extensions are offered on a first-come, first-served basis until room availability is exhausted.
After registering, participants may email the Customer Experience team at nti@nw.org to inquire about eligibility for a night extension. All additional night-stay requests must be submitted by email. Please review the event lodging guidelines for additional information. If you expect to arrive late at the hotel, please contact 1-800-438-5547.
How should a registrant identify their Accessibility needs?
-
Participants with accessibility needs should identify those needs in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) section of their registration profile. Participants may also provide more detailed requests through the online Accessibility Request Intake form. Attendees are responsible for arranging or renting any needed mobility or medical devices. Please refer to the Travel & Logistics Guide for a list of local rental providers.
If NW is managing your lodging, which hotel have I been assigned? Do I make reservations?
-
If your lodging is covered by NeighborWorks America, your hotel assignment will be posted to your schedule no later than January 27, 2027. This information will appear under Your NTI Schedule on the event platform. If NeighborWorks covers your hotel, please do not contact the hotel to make a reservation, as doing so may create a duplicate reservation and result in a charge to your credit card. If you are arriving early or staying additional days, you may contact the hotel directly to arrange a separate reservation for nights not covered by NeighborWorks.
VENUE LOGISTICS
Do I need to wear my name badge at all times?
-
The hotel and/or convention center venues are large, and moving between courses may require significant walking. We suggest you wear comfortable shoes. At the event, please wear your badge for identification and security purposes. Not having the badge may hinder you from getting into the venue, classes and NW networking activities.
Are meals provided?
-
Attendees are responsible for their own meals unless otherwise noted in the event schedule. Coffee and beverage service, including grab-and-go snacks, will be available during late-morning and afternoon breaks on weekdays. Lunch will be provided at the Opening Plenary on Monday.
What is the dress code for this event?
-
The attire is business casual. For your comfort, please dress in layers or bring a sweater/jacket to accommodate varying temperatures in the hotel and convention center venues.
Who do I contact if I am unable to make it to class?
-
Please contact Customer Experience at 1-800-438-5547 so the team can notify the instructor. Participants who do not attend their course will be marked incomplete and will not receive a certificate of completion.
Are shuttle buses provided for venues?
-
Shuttle buses will be provided between select hotel venues and the Puerto Rico Convention Center at designated pickup and drop-off locations.
-
NeighborWorks does not provide ground transportation from the airport to the hotel. Participants are responsible for arranging airport transportation, including shuttles, taxis, or rideshare services, at their own expense.
I don’t have a credit card for my incidentals deposit. What can I do?
-
Organizations may request a hotel pre-authorization form to cover incidental charges. To learn more, please contact us at 1-800-438-5557 or nti@nw.org. We will be happy to send you instructions and the contact information needed to request the form.
